National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center
Baker City, Oregon
Join us on Flagstaff Hill for our Annual
Labor Day Wagon Encampment
August 30-31, 2014
The encampment on Flagstaff Hill features the authentic dress, tools, and techniques of a wagon train party, offering fun for the whole family. Historic re-enactors will re-create an 1850's era Oregon Trail Wagon Train encampment, on a typical day of 'lying by' or rest.
The Trail Tenders
Trail Tenders, Inc. provides volunteer support for programs and special events at the Center, manages the Oregon Trail Shop, and also raises funds for facility enhancements, exhibits, educational and interpretive programs.
